Mende people are the first inhabitants of Greece

What does Greece, Carolina slaves, and Mende people all have in common?

The Mende people are the first inhabitants of Greece. They later migrated to West Africa, and some were sold to slavery in the Carolina area. They go by the name Gullah Geechee, they are still found in their own communities today, and have their own form of language. They are also the Golah-Mende in West Africa
